The Passadiços do Paiva (Paiva Walkways) are a series of wooden walkways located in the Arouca municipality of Portugal. The walkways are built along the Paiva River and offer visitors a unique way to explore the natural beauty of the region. The walkways are 8.5 km long and offer a variety of scenic views, including the river, the surrounding hills, and the unique flora and fauna of the region.

The Passadiços do Paiva was built in 2015 and has since become a popular tourist attraction. The walkways are made of wood and are built on stilts, allowing visitors to walk above the river and the riverbanks. The walkways are fully accessible and suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Along the walkway, there are several rest areas, picnic spots, and panoramic viewpoints.
The walkways are open all year round, but the best time to visit is during the spring and summer months when the weather is warmer and the surrounding nature is at its most beautiful. Visitors are allowed to walk the walkways at their own pace, and it takes around 3 hours to complete the walk. The walkway is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe and the most beautiful in Portugal. It’s also a perfect spot for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
